June 10

1:50 p.m. — Security responded to a “smoke” alarm activation on the sixth floor of Propes Hall. Security met the Savannah Fire Department at the scene where it was determined that the alarm was a false alarm. The system was reset.

 

7:28 p.m. — Security responded to a call box activation at Arnold Hall. The alarm was determined to be a false alarm and nothing out of the ordinary was discovered in the area.

June 11

8:36 p.m. — Security discovered the side window and front door of the Turner House food store to be unsecured. Security notified the store manager.

June 12

12:56 a.m. — Security responded to a “trouble” alarm at Jen Library. The alarm was determined to be a false alarm and the system was reset.

4:48 p.m. — Security responded to an alarm activation at Abercorn Terrace. The alarm was determined to be a false alarm and the system was reset.

June 13

2:40 p.m. — Security responded to a vehicle accident involving a SCAD grounds crew vehicle that backed into a parked SCAD security vehicle. There were no injuries and police was not notified.

June 14

4:30 a.m. — Security responded to a “error” alarm at Turner House. The alarm was unable to be reset and maintenance was notified.

6:02 p.m. — Security responded to a “smoke” alarm at Abercorn Terrace. The alarm was determined to be a false alarm and the system was reset.

8:53 p.m. — Security responded to an unsecured door alarm at Trustees Theater. A patrol of the premises was conducted and all doors were found to be secure. The alarm was determined to be a false alarm and was reset.

June 15

12:00 p.m. — A student reported to security that her bike had been stolen from her off-campus residence. Savannah-Chatham Metro Police responded to the scene and issued a crime report.

8:30 p.m. — Security discovered graffiti damage on the north, side doors of Bergen Hall. Maintenance was notified of the damage.

9:18 p.m. — Security responded to a “trouble” alarm at The Granite Steps. The alarm would not reset and maintenance was notified.
