Savannah Fire and Emergency Services wants to remind citizens that outdoor burning is prohibited within the city limits of Savannah. Springtime weather warrants the cleaning of yards, raking of leaves and general outdoor maintenance, but the spring-like weather can also create serious fire hazards. Dry and windy conditions can fuel outdoor fires, creating unmanageable conditions for burning.
