Occupy movement reaches Savannah

The Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Together movements are gaining more momentum with the participation of the union workers in New York City and protests occurring in more than 20 states nationwide.

Occupy Savannah protests are to be held at Emmet Park Oct. 9 through Oct. 17, beginning Sunday at 9 a.m. Protesters are encouraged to come and go as work or school allows.
