Police seek SCAD library vandal

A press release dated April 1 by the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department sought a male who forced himself into and vandalized the Jen Library.

According to the press release, the male — identified by closed circuit cameras — is 20-30 years of age, 6 feet and above and roughly 155-180 pounds. The suspect is said to have appeared to enter the building in the early hours of March 22, and proceeded to fling a computer to the floor and break the glass table where the computer was. Following the vandalism, he pulled a fire alarm and then left.

Both the SCMPD and the Director of SCAD Security could not provide further information as this is an ongoing investigation. The suspect is currently at large and the police department is seeking information regarding the incident.
