The Bee Line Bus Service is generating a new red bus line. The route will connect O-House to Anderson, Wallin and Arnold Halls.

“There is a new Red Route. In order to address overcrowding concerns we have begun an O-House Red Route,” said SCAD Transportation Manager Jeff Davis.

SCAD aims to decrease the upperclassmen’s stress levels over fighting to make it to class on time by creating a route that doesn’t stop at Turner.

“The bus system has been very crowded since the freshmen class is so large,” said second year film major Hayley Barry from Ashburnham, Massachusetts. “It’s so overly crowded, especially in the mornings.”

“This new bus is really helpful for everyone living at O-House who don’t have cars,” said second year architecture major Lara Fischer from Paris, France. “Before this bus, I personally used to see three to four buses passing in front of me before actually having a place on the red bus, which used to make me late to class.”

“Hopefully this new bus will cut down on the traffic and make it quicker getting to class,” said Barry.
