Security report: March 15-23, 2008

March 15
1:10 a.m. – Security stopped a non-student attempting to enter Turner House with a fake student ID.

9:15 a.m. – Security reported that a vending machine at Weston House had been damaged. Security removed the food from the machine.

10:15 a.m. – Graffiti was found on the stairway leading from Weston House to Turner House.

3:40 p.m. – Security and the Savannah Fire Department responded to a smoke alarm at Boundary Village. The alarm was determined to be false and reset.

6:55 p.m. – An alarm was activated at Arnold Hall. The building was checked and the alarm was reset.

March 16
3:35 p.m. – Security responded to a vehicle accident near the intersection of Habersham and 37th streets involving four students. No injuries were reported and a police report was filed.

March 17
12:04 a.m. – A smoke alarm was activated at Weston House. The Savannah Fire Department responded and determined the alarm was false. The alarm was reset.

12:20 p.m. – A student reported that her bicycle was missing from behind her house on East Gwinnett Street. A police report was filed.

4:35 p.m. – A staff member reported that an individual had hit her car while parked at York Hall and had left a note. A police report was filed.

10:10 p.m. – Graffiti was found on the right rear side of Weston House.

11:20 p.m. – Security responded to a vehicle accident at Boundary Village involving two students. No injuries were reported and a police report was filed.

March 18
2:52 a.m. – A student reported that he had locked himself out of a Dyson House room. It was discovered the room belonged to another student, and that the student was using
her key to access her room. The RD allowed the student access to remove his belongings.

2 p.m. – A student reported that his bicycle was missing from the bike rack at Eichberg Hall. A police report was filed.

4:44 p.m. – A staff member reported that graffiti was found in a cabinet at Magnolia House. Security was dispatched to photograph the damage.

March 19
9:17 p.m. – Security and the Savannah Fire Department responded to a smoke alarm at Barnard Village. The alarm was determined to have been caused by a student cooking. The alarm was reset.

10:26 p.m. – An alarm was activated at Boundary Village. The alarm was determined to be false and reset itself.

March 20
10:30 a.m. – Graffiti was found on the southwest wall of Weston House.

March 21

2:28 p.m. – Security discovered the main entrance to River Club unsecured. The building was patrolled and the door was secured.
2:28 p.m. – A student reported his bicycle was missing from the bike rack at Oglethorpe House. A police report was filed.

March 22
4:33 p.m. – Security responded to a medical call to Oglethorpe House, where a student had fell while exiting a bus. The student refused further treatment.

March 23
2:38 p.m. – A student fell from the fifth-floor walkway at Turner House. Emergency medical personnel responded and transported the student for treatment.

6:30 p.m. – A student reported that items were missing from his room in Turner House. He did not want to file a police report.

8 p.m. – Graffiti was found on the wall behind Pepe Hall.
