This week, television has given us many exciting moments – most importantly, the season and new show premieres!

Because my love for “Criminal Minds” is strong, I cannot recommend “Stalker” enough. Granted, it does make me want to continuously check my locks and always look over my shoulder, but that never bothered me.

Two new comedies premiered this week as well: “Manhattan Love Story” and “Selfie” on ABC. I have mixed feelings for these shows. “Manhattan Love Story” could be cute, maybe. The idea is there but they are trying too hard to capitalize on the fame of “How I Met Your Mother.” It also has Analeigh Tipton in it, whom you may recognize from “America’s Next Top Model” cycle 11, where she was obviously the best candidate but got cheated of her win.

“Selfie” is every nerd’s dream cast. Karen Gillian and John Cho, “Doctor Who” and “Star Trek,” what more could you ask for? It’s also basically “My Fair Lady”/ ”Pygmalion.” I think this show could go all the way. I laughed, I cried, it was great.

New seasons this week started with three huge contenders: “Once Upon a Time” on Sunday, “Castle” on Monday and “Criminal Minds” on Wednesday. All of them started with a bang. Elsa came to Storybrooke on “Once,” Castle vanished on “Castle” and Blake left the BAU on “Criminal Minds.” Castle was found, Storybrooke covered in ice and Jennifer Love Hewitt, aka Melinda Gordon from “Ghost Whisperer,” joined the team as SSA Kate Callahan. I think Jennifer Love Hewitt is going to be a great addition to the team. She already has good camaraderie with the majority of the team and I can’t wait for more interactions.

The relationships on “Criminal Minds” are moving forward, but they’ve gone backward on the other two shows. On “Once,” there was almost no Hook and Emma interaction this episode and I can’t even describe how much that upset me. Also, Regina needs to keep to the good side. Robin will come around because he really loves her. Marion annoys me.

And since Castle disappeared on their wedding day, Kate was understandably upset. So no wedding and they have to work to get back to the relationship they had before. Bummer. I hope they don’t make us wait a whole season for any of these couples to fully get together.

“Gracepoint” also premiered this week on Fox. If you want to know what happened, go watch “Broadchurch.” It’s literally the same show except David Tennant gets to use his own accent and you can binge watch the whole thing already.

Besides premieres, a bunch of other TV shows aired episodes this week. We found out Sunday on “Witches of East End” that Killian used to be Edgar Allen Poe and Freya was the one who actually inspired “Annabel Lee.” Funnily enough, I always thought some girl named Annabel inspired that poem. Guess I was wrong.

On “Sleepy Hollow” Monday, Ichabod and Abbie pulled some Dr. Frankenstein nonsense and tried to make a monster to rival Death. The plan kind of worked. Icabod also went up against the horror that is the 21st century’s billion dollar wedding industry.

“Gotham” upped the ante for creepy with a new villain called the Dollmaker, and the Penguin lived up to his villainous future self with some very gruesome murders.

A new episode of “Scorpion” dealt with designer viruses, which I didn’t know existed. Guys, watch “Scorpion” on CBS. It is amazing and I want it to have another season!

There was a new “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” on Tuesday. It was okay, but Jemma comes back next episode and she’s been working for HYDRA. She is a bad guy now. I don’t know where I stand in life.

There was also episode three of “Forever,” which is another amazing show that everyone needs to be watching. Oddly enough, it also had to do with designer drugs. I guess it was this week’s theme.

Wednesday through Thursday were mostly just premieres and Friday showed episode two of the new season of “Hawaii 5-0.” Lots of kidnapping and ransoms went on and it was good but not nearly as exciting as the season premiere from last week.

And on “Outlander” this Saturday— Oh wait, there will be no more “Outlander” till April. April! That’s so far away.

That’s what happened, for the most part, this week in TV. Stay tuned next Sunday for more!
