The Practice Child [Bulletin]

practicechildposterWhat: The Practice Child, a new comedy written and directed by dramatic writing student Tyler Stuart:

When Blil was born, his mother spelled his name wrong on the birth certificate, mixing up the “I” with one of the “L’s”. Rather than correcting the mistake, she decided just to have another child, and name him “Bill”. Twenty some years later, Blil is still living in the shadow of his younger brother, Bill, who is perfect in every way but one: he has a malignant brain tumor. To make matters worse, when Blil meets his brother’s fiancé, he falls madly in love. If he is to have anything with her, Blil will have to ensure that his brother doesn’t survive; all the while dealing with his bi-polar mother, Bill’s senile neurosurgeon, and a homeless man claiming to be Blil and Bill’s biological father…
