You said it: Georgia’s new gun law

On June 8, 2010, the Common Sense Lawful Carry Act was signed into law by former governor Sonny Perdue. The recent shooting of Arizona representative Gabrielle Giffords has left many questioning the gun laws that are currently in place.

The Common Sense Lawful Carry Act permits citizens with a license to leave their weapon in a parked vehicle on college and university campuses. District investigated to see how SCAD students and faculty are responding to this gun law.
