Mark R. Weber and the industry of poverty [AUDIO]

Mark R. Weber, the writer, editor and producer of the award-winning documentary “Strong Bodies Fight,” presented his newest film, “Poverty, Inc.,” this past Tuesday and Thursday at the 2014 Savannah Film Festival. The film, which Weber co-produced, talks about the effects of international trade on developing countries’ economies, using Haiti and African countries as its case studies. Weber gave District an interview about the project’s beginnings, development and the concept behind it.
