Brief: River Street burglar taken into custody

The Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police department took into custody suspect Richard Simmons. Simmons was arrested for the burglary of a River Street business. The incident took place last week.
The arrest took place without incident earlier today.
Simmons also had a warrant out for his arrest and will be arraigned this week.
