From a sophomore student looking back at his freshman year at SCAD comes Fresh Advice, the run down on all of the SCAD programs, operations and secret tricks you need to know to make a smooth transition to SCAD life.
An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but that’s not always enough. If you feel under the weather no worries the SCAD Center for Health is here for you. Currently enrolled students can get medical treatment for minor illnesses, like colds, earaches, asthma, sinus infections, minor gynecological complaints and small abrasions, at a minimal cost.
However, this clinic is not equipped for emergency or critical situations.
In an emergency, call 911 or visit the Memorial Health University Medical Center or St. Joseph’s / Candler Hospitals. If Emergency Services is requested, notify the RA on duty so they can inform security and speed up the process.
