College Security Report: Jan. 6, 2010

9:35 a.m.— Security responded to an alarm activation in a Boundary Village room. The Savannah Fire Department was already on site and had determined that the alarm was caused by students cooking in the dorm. The alarm was silenced and reset.
11:25 a.m.— Security responded to an elevator entrapment call in the Oglethorpe House elevator. Upon security’s arrival at the scene, the student had already been able to get out of the elevator.
2:47 p.m.— A York Hall staff member reported to security that she had observed a suspicious male ride away from York Hall on a dark blue bike. The staff member was concerned that the bike may have been stolen from the building. Security patrolled the area of York Hall and did not find anyone matching the description provided. As of the time of this report, no one has reported a bike missing from York Hall.
