Acollective/Futurebirds rock the Trustees Theater
By Douglas Scarpa
Continuing the Savannah Music Festival, Acollective and Futurebirds played the Trustees Theater on March 29.
Acollective opened the show with a rousing set that included mellow tracks and dance-inducing jams that featured nearly every member of the band playing various instruments. To say these guys are multi-talented would be an understatement.
Following up with a crowd-pleasing set of southern-inspired rock, the Futurebirds had the crowd on their feet and moving. Having already built a loyal following, the Futurebirds continue to be on the rise. Don’t be surprised if you hear them crowding your radio airwaves soon.
Before the show, I sat down with Acollective to discuss their beginnings and recent happenings.
