Last Monday, Feb. 27, The Jinx hosted a five-hour-long rock show starting at 8:00 p.m. The performers included Agent Orange, The Queers, Guttermouth and The Atom Age.
Agent Orange, Guttermouth and The Atom Age formed during the West Coast Hardcore Scene in California, while The Queers were created in New Hampshire. Founded in 2008, The Atom Age is the newest band. Agent Orange is known as a pioneer when it comes to blending punk rock and surf rock. The bands’ diverse backgrounds and experience mattered little to the students and locals that attended. The downtown venue remained crammed until 1 a.m. with happy listeners.
