Registration is now open for Apple’s 2008 Insomnia Film Festival. College and high school students can register for this third-annual event, in which students have 24 hours starting the morning of Nov. 15 to write, shoot and edit a 3-minute film. Films will be voted on by the public and a panel of celebrity judges to decide which teams are awarded the grand prize of a MacBook Pro and collection of Apple software. More information is available on the festival’s Web site.
