Arnold Hall carjackers found

Last night SCAD staff and students were informed of a carjacking that occurred on the corner of 35th and Bull Street. The stolen car belonged to a SCAD professor, and SCAD security does remind everyone to be aware and vigilant after dark.
The young men responsible were in possession of a pistol when they took the car from the professor however the gun has not been found. The SCMPD reports that the gun was thrown from the vehicle after they bailed out and started to run from officers.
No injuries were reported regarding the incident.
The three young males responsible for the car jacking last night by Arnold Hall have been apprehended. The suspects have been taken in for questioning and the car has been recovered.
According to Gena Moore from the SCMPD, “All three were charged with armed robbery, hijacking of a motor vehicle and obstruction by fleeing.”
