Savannah’s monthly First Friday Art March will take place this time around on May 2 at Bull Street’s own Foxy Loxy Print Gallery and Cafe. An evening of art and food will be held from 6-9 p.m. with a musical performance by Corey Hines set to begin at 7.
Foxy Loxy welcomes guests for free admission. In the courtyard, John Hech will serve various different types of crepes, including vegetarian, meat, and sweets-filled ones.
Foxy’s popular reputation will surely help to reel in attendees like SCAD faculty and students, as well different members of the Savannah community. The event is child friendly and families are encouraged to attend.
The Savannah Area Artisans Guild, Creative Approach, Connect Savannah, and Well Fed Magazine are all sponsors of the night’s “The (Not Goodbye) Printmaking Show,” an Art Rise Savannah exhibition.
A trolley will be on hand for transportation, ensuring no activity is missed. The trolley will loop around the event every 20 minutes and will stop at the Indie Arts Market on De Soto Avenue. The market allows for the community members to interact and support local artists, as well as purchase different hand-made products.
