Artists transform Tybee Beach at Sand Arts

On Friday, students took over Tybee Beach with their sand and wind creations. SCAD students, alumni, faculty and staff competed for prizes by creating the most creative sand castle, sand sculpture, sand relief or kinetic sculptures. Visitors were also invited to participate in the Sand Jam and drew the various events of the day in the media of their choice to submit to judges afterward.
