Residence Life and Housing is holding a Battle of the Bands competition, scheduled for 9 p.m. May 14 at SCAD’s Student Center.
Bands interested in competing are asked to submit a CD with at least two of their songs (cover or original). The deadline for submitting a CD is April 20.
The CDs will be used to choose the bands that will compete in Battle of the Bands, but will not be used in the judging of the actual battle. Bands chosen to participate will be notified by April 22. Bands will be chosen to compete on the criteria of appropriateness and diversity of music.
Participating bands are not required to be composed of all SCAD students, but should include at least a couple of SCAD students.
CDs may be dropped into the manila envelope hanging in Dyson office, or on the door of Turner 437.
