Brief: SCMPD aid South Carolina in three arrests

Just after 4 p.m. yesterday the Savannah Chatham Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to aid in stopping a car chase involving stolen vehicles from South Carolina.
The two Ford trucks were making their way to Savannah from South Carolina after shoplifting in the Hilton Head area. The trucks however were stolen earlier in the week from the corner of Waters Ave. and Park Ln. in Savannah.
The trucks were chased by South Carolina Police until it became what was considered unsafe and later followed by unmarked police cars until both stolen trucks crashed and the passengers apprehended by police in both states.
The SCMPD arrested a juvenile along with Brandon Cutter and Bernard Carter. Cutter and Carter are being charged by SCMPD with theft and theft of a stolen vehicle along with pending charges from South Carolina.
