“I believe that perfume has more power than people realize,” said Brooke Sturgis, a first-year business of beauty and fragrance major. “It transforms a woman into this independent and confident being where she knows she can walk into any room and turn heads.”
While growing up with all sisters in Pennsylvania, Sturgis became a lover of all things beauty and fashion. About two years ago Sturgis said she decided that she needed to find the right fragrance to match her personality. That’s when she found Flowerbomb by Viktor&Rolf. Flowerbomb is an explosion of floral sensations; it’s feminine and sensual with notes of cattleyas, sambac jasmine, freesia, rose and vanilla.
“The one thing I love about Flowerbomb is how it is a crossover of girly and feminine with that strong, girl boss vibe,” said Sturgis. “I hate how women are just expected to be one or the other, and I want to scream, ‘why can’t I be both?’ This perfume says that for me, and when I wear it, I feel like I can take over the world.”
Sturgis said she gains a lot of confidence wearing this perfume and only wearing it on special occasions makes it even more of a confidence booster. I wanted to showcase Sturgis in this editorial and let her embody the feeling of wearing Flowerbomb.
