9:10 p.m. — Security responded to an alarm activation at Crites Hall. The alarm was determined to be a false alarm but could not be reset. Sonitrol was informed and the incident was placed on the maintenance list.

11:28 p.m. — Security responded to a “trouble” alarm at Hamilton Annex. The alarm was determined to be a false alarm.

1:30 p.m. — Security discovered an unsecured crawl-space door at Eichberg Hall. Security was not able to secure the door. Maintenance was notified.
7:13 p.m. — Savannah-Chatham Metro Police notified security that they recovered a stolen SCAD bicycle. The owner of the bicycle was contacted and stated they would pick up the bike when they returned to school for winter quarter.
December 20
6:06 p.m. — Security discovered two unsecured doors at Abercorn Terrace. Security contacted the resident director and Savannah-Chatham Metro Police. The dorm rooms appeared to be undisturbed and nothing appeared to be missing. The doors could not be secured and maintenance was notified of the problem.

4:40 p.m. — Security responded to a fire alarm at Hamilton Hall. It was determined that a pull station had been accidentally activated. The alarm was silenced and reset.
December 23
10 a.m. — Security responded to an “intrusion” alarm at the Gutstein Gallery. Security met Savannah-Chatham Metro Police at the scene. It was determined that the gallery was secure and that the alarm was a false alarm.
4:25 p.m. — Security responded to a “trouble” alarm at Abercorn Terrace. The alarm was determined to be a false alarm and the system was reset.
6:53 p.m. — Security responded to an “intrusion” alarm at Hamilton Annex. It was determined that the alarm was a false alarm and that the building was secure.

11 a.m. — A student reported to security that her bike had been stolen from the courtyard of Abercorn Terrace. The student stated that she secured the bike the day before and noticed it missing several hours later. Savannah-Chatham Metro Police responded to the scene and issued a crime report.

10:30 p.m. — Security discovered a broken window Adler Hall. Maintenance was notified to make repairs.

9:45 a.m. — Security responded to an “intrusion” alarm at Hamilton Annex. It was determined that a staff member accidentally set off the alarm.
10:50 a.m. — A student reported to security that the rear wheel of her bike had been damaged while it was secured at Abercorn Terrace. The student did not want police notified.
