December 15

9:58 a.m. — Security observed an ABM Industries worker attempting to pry open the door to the faculty lounge at Eckburg Hall. ABM Industries management and the college security manager were notified.

8:41 p.m. — Security responded to a report of individuals tampering with the fencing along the Gulfstream Center side of Barnard Village. A patrol of the area was conducted and nothing out of the ordinary was discovered.

December 19

11:20 p.m. — Security discovered the front door to Keys Hall unsecured. A patrol of the building was conducted and security secured the door.

9:49 p.m. — Security responded to a “trouble” alarm at a room of Abercorn Terrace. No problems were discovered and the alarm panel was reset.

2:53 a.m. — Security responded to a “trouble” alarm at a room of Abercorn Terrace. No problems were discovered and the alarm panel was reset.

7:14 p.m. — Security discovered the front door to Keys Hall unsecured. A patrol of the building was conducted and security secured the door.

December 24

6:10 p.m. — Security discovered the side door of Club SCAD unsecured. The alarm panel indicated an active “trouble” alarm. Security conducted a patrol of the building. They silenced the alarm and secured the door.

December 25

6:40 a.m. — Security responded to a “trouble” alarm at the SCAD Museum. A patrol of the museum was conducted and nothing out of the ordinary was discovered. Siemens Building Technologies was notified of the issue.

December 26

11:52 a.m. — Security responded to an alarm at Boundary Village. A work order was placed to have the system checked.

December 27

5:41 p.m. — Security discovered the entrance to Bobbie’s Diner unsecured. Sodexho management responded to the scene and secured the door.

7:42 p.m. — Security discovered the front door to Keys Hall unsecured. A patrol of the building was conducted and the door was secured.

6:45 p.m. — Security discovered the rear door of the carriage house at Lai Wa Hall unsecured. A patrol of the building was conducted and the door was then secured.

December 29

6:48 p.m. — Security discovered the front door to Keys Hall unsecured. A patrol of the building was conducted and then the door was secured.

7:42 p.m. — Security discovered the front door to Bobbie’s Diner unsecured. Sodexho management responded to the scene and secured the door.

December 30

6:11 p.m. — Security discovered the ground-level door to Pulaski Hall unsecured. A patrol of the building was conducted and then the door was secured.

8:15 p.m. — Security responded to multiple alarms at Gulfstream Center. It was determined that the alarm system had failed and the main panel needed to be replaced. A fire watch was scheduled and Stanley Convergent Security Solutions was notified.
