College Security Report: Feb. 3, 2009

Feb. 3

9:16 a.m.— A SCAD student reported to security that her prism colored markers, valued at $400, were stolen from her work station in a room of Eichberg Hall. She stated that she had last seen the markers at noon Jan. 29, and that she discovered the pens missing at 11 a.m. Jan. 30. She did not wish to file a report with Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department.

9:30 a.m.— Security responded to a medical call at Hamilton Hall. Upon arrival, security was told that a SCAD student had suffered a seizure while attending class and had already been transported by EMS.

2:55 p.m.— A non-SCAD individual notified security that he believes someone from SCAD is moving his motorcycle from where he parks it to the sidewalk. He said he had already spoken with the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department regarding the issue.

5:04 p.m.— A shop manager notified security that he had witnessed a Jeep Cherokee back into a light pole behind Eichberg Hall, causing the pole to fall to the ground.

11:04 p.m.— Security responded to a call-box activation at Eichberg Hall. Security responded to the area and was met by a SCAD student who wanted to report that there was a light pole damaged at the building. A shop manager had already notified security about the damaged pole.
