College Security Report: Jan. 12, 2009

Jan. 12

9:40 a.m.— Security responded to medical call at a room in Boundary Hall. A SCAD student said she had cut her left forefinger with an X-Acto knife while working on a class project. She stated that she did not need EMS and that she would get herself checked at the SCAD clinic.

10:40 a.m.— Security responded to an alarm activation at a room in Barnard Village. Security determined that the alarm was false and that there was no smoke present. The alarm was silenced and reset.

3:43 p.m.— A SCAD student reported to security that someone had stolen her bike from the bike rack at Keys Hall. She stated that she had locked the bike to the rack at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 11, and she noticed that the bike was missing when she returned at 9:30 p.m. the same day. Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene and issued a report.
