College Security Report: Jan. 5-6, 2009
Jan. 5
7 a.m.— Security was notified that the front door to York Hall was unsecured. The card access system had unsecured the door earlier than the 8:30 a.m. normal opening time. Security monitored the entrance until the York Hall staff arrived.
6:05 p.m.— Security responded to a smoke alarm activation at a room in Boundary Village. Security determined the alarm was caused by a student cooking in the room. The alarm was silenced and reset.
Jan. 6
2:05 a.m.— Security discovered the front door to the Turner House snack shop to be unsecured. Security patrolled the area and then secured the door.
