College Security Report: March 2, 2009

1:30 p.m.— A SCAD student reported to security that someone had stolen her bike from the bike rack at Arnold Hall. She stated she had locked the bike to the rack at 7:30 a.m. March 2, and that the bike was missing when she returned at 1:30 p.m. the same day. The bike was not registered with SCAD security and the student did not want to file a theft report with the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department.

4:40 p.m.— A SCAD student reported to security that someone had stolen his spare tire from the back of his vehicle. He stated that he had last seen the tire when he arrived to class at Gulfstream sometime after noon and that he noticed the tire was missing when he returned to the vehicle at 4:40 p.m. Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police responded to the scene and issued a report.

11:59 p.m.— A SCAD student called dispatch and requested to speak with the on-call counselor. Security took the student’s information and then called the on-call counselor. The counselor stated that he would contact the student.
