College Security Report: March 24-30, 2008

March 24
9:55 a.m. – A student reported that her bicycle was missing from the rack at Dyson House. It was last seen on March 13. A police report was filed.

4:38 p.m. – A student reported that her vehicle, parked in the Weston House parking lot, had been damaged. A police report was filed.

March 25
9:20 a.m. – Security was notified of a vehicle accident in the Crites Hall parking lot. Police responded and a report was filed.

3:11 p.m. – Security was notified of a vehicle accident in the Eichberg Hall parking lot. Police responded and a report was filed.

8:37 p.m. – Graffiti was found at the staircase between Weston and Turner houses.

March 26
2:45 a.m. – A student became ill at Turner Annex. Emergency medical personnel responded and said the student should go to the emergency room. The student refused to go and the medical personnel departed.

12:04 p.m. – Security and the Savannah Fire Department responded to an alarm at Boundary Village. The alarm was determined to have been caused by steam from a shower. The alarm was reset.

March 27
5 p.m. – A student reported that her bicycle was missing from the rack at Eichberg Hall. A police report was filed.

7 p.m. – Security responded to a vehicle accident at the intersection of Whitaker and Liberty streets involving a college bus. A police report was filed.

March 28
3:49 a.m. – A smoke alarm was activated at Alexander Hall. The alarm was determined to be false.

4:14 a.m. – Two fire doors were found unsecured at Eichberg Hall. The building was checked and the doors were secured.

12:27 p.m. – Security director reported that an unknown female had made three hostile/harassing phone calls to Lai Wa Hall.

4:08 p.m. – Security and the Savannah Fire Department responded to an alarm at Barnard Village. The alarm was determined to have been caused by a student cooking. The alarm was reset.

March 30
4:20 a.m. – A flower pot at Hamilton Hall was found damaged. A police report was filed.

5:24 a.m. – Security found the main gate at Turner Annex to be malfunctioning. The maintenance office was notified.

1:30 p.m. – A student reported that his vehicle had been damaged while parked at Boundary Village. A police report was filed.

5:15 p.m. – A student reported that her purse had been stolen on Broughton Street. A police report was filed.
