College Security Report: Nov. 6, 2008
11:04 a.m.—Security responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at the Smithfield Cottage. The complainant stated that an older white male was sitting in his vehicle on Hall Street and had been writing something down. Police responded to the scene, but the vehicle had departed prior to their arrival.
1:53 p.m.—Security responded to a medical call at Arnold Hall. A SCAD student was being treated by EMS for an unknown illness and was transported to the hospital. The student’s resident director was notified of the incident.
3:07 p.m.— Security responded to a panic alarm at Lai Wa Hall. Upon investigation it was determined that it was accidentally activated.
4:59 p.m.— A SCAD student reported to security that someone had vandalized her vehicle while it was parked at Barnard Village. The damage consisted of several dents to the hood of the vehicle. Police responded to the scene and generated a report.
6:31 p.m.—Security responded to an alarm activation at Boundary Village. Upon investigation it was determined to be a false alarm and the system was silenced and reset.
11:06 p.m.—A SCAD student notified security that his friend, was very upset and needed to speak with a counselor. Security notified the resident director and on call counselor
