Color and Beauty Abound at Sidewalk Arts Festival 2016
Photographed by Quinn Scott and Pablo Portilla del Valle
Forsyth park became a canvas on Saturday, April 23 as the clock hit 11 a.m. and students and alumni began putting chalk to concrete. SCAD’s annual Sidewalk Arts Festival is a display of creativity as artists join to celebrate the day with colorful chalk. Participants range from SCAD undergraduates, graduates and alumni to local high school students.
Our staff went around asking artists to describe their creations and we photographed the products of their labor and the hands that made it possible.
