While they’ve attended the SCAD Savannah Film Festival for years now, SCAD students Shayain Lakhani and Devon Solwold, winners of the 2019 Coca-Cola and Regal Films Competition, walked alongside actors and filmmakers on the red carpet for the first time Oct. 26. Humbled by their successes, Lakhani and Solwold’s upcoming work received recognition from producers of the Florida Project and Tangerine. The pair emceed opening night of the festival, introducing SCAD alumni Kiandra Richardson, Director Tom Harper and Rising Star recipient Danielle Macdonald.
