When you first arrive in Savannah, it can be daunting to pick a place to eat or hang out. The city offers a wide variety of options when it comes to activities and eateries, and you even might find one and stick to it.

If you want a change of pace from the usual Broughton spot, or maybe hitting those tourist spots are putting a dent on your wallet — here are some places, old and new, that you can check out.

The Black Rabbit is a bar and eatery located at 1215 Barnard St. They offer a good selection of sandwiches, like their classic Van Gogh sandwich: a slice of roasted chicken breast with sweet peppers marinated in cider, some havarti and honey mustard packed in whole wheat bread.

Not only do they also serve desserts and sides in a relaxing, warmly lit atmosphere, but they also offer a wide variety of drinks. Their small patio space offers a different experience.
