District, SCAD’s independent student news website, is currently seeking applicants for a variety of newly added student editor positions for our 2021-2022 staff.
For the coming academic year, we are adding assistant editor positions for contributors to take a more active role in the editing process. We are also expanding our current staff to include a web designer and illustrator.
As well, we are adding new positions to our literary journalism magazine, Square 95, which debuted earlier this year.

Assistant editor applications are due by Saturday, April 24, at 12 p.m. ET and only require a resume. All other applications are due by Saturday, May 1, at 11:59 p.m. ET and require a cover letter and portfolio.
Positions are only open to current, Savannah-based SCAD students, and will run from May until March 2022.
