DQ survived by Port City Review
R.I.P. District Quarterly
Former Savannah resident District Quarterly passed away quietly in its home at the District office over the summer.
DQ was born in the Fall of 2009 and went on to spawn nine issues over the years. It was an award-winning, student-produced publication. Each quarter, students submitted work that fell under the selected theme. Starting with Travel and ending with Magic, DQ lived a happy, eventful life.
DQ is survived by the current members of the District editorial board and Port City Review. Port City Review is a new literary arts journal without a theme, without limitations. The deadline for submissions is Nov. 9.
PCR promises to be so astounding that, at the request of the District staff, no service commemorating DQ will be held.
