Photographed by Katherine Rountree
Fire trucks showed up at The Hive today, Sunday May 3, at approximately 5:30 p.m. in answer to a pulled fire alarm. There didn’t appear to be any danger, and the trucks drove away at approximately 5:50 p.m.
SCAD Security could not comment on the reason for the pulled fire alarm and the responders declined interviews.
This is not the first false alarm at The Hive. Last Wednesday, April 29, fire trucks responded to an alarm around 4:30 p.m. again with no apparent danger.
The Hive and SCAD Café remain open for business as usual, and there is no further information at this time.
