Before becoming an actress, Michelle Monaghan studied journalism at Columbia College Chicago. She realized acting was her true calling after her third year there and immediately moved to New York to pursue her new career choice.
It was a risk that paid off. Monaghan now has a successful acting career in both big budget and indie films and has even started producing and developing her own films.
Monaghan took the time to give students advice on preparing for roles and following their dreams.
