Forsyth’s fountain goes green for St. Patty’s

From River Street to Southside, Savannahians are pumping up for a week of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, finishing with the annual parade on March 17.
But to get things started off, city officials and locals gathered in Forsyth Park today celebrating the greening of the fountain.
School children and their families took turns pouring green dye into the fountain’s waters before the big moment when the water streamed green.
District headed down to Forsyth Park to give you a front row view to the festivities.
