Friday, Jan. 24 marked the grand opening of Foxy Loxy’s fifth location, The Coffee Fox- Louisville, off of Louisville Road. While the storefront may appear cozy and compact, the interior stretches further than what meets the eye. In fact, the newest addition to the Foxy franchise is also acting as their main storage facility.
The open concept cafe space is decorated simplistically. A mural commissioned by a local artist, JULU, wraps the bar, and a bold red espresso machine welcomes customers, giving it a modern retro feel. Just like all Foxy locations, as soon as customers step through the door, they feel at home.
The cafe welcomed Savannah to their grand opening with music by DJ Troy Stoner and Big Bon Pizza. “It’s hard to put into words how different this location is from our other locations. It’s such a different market,” said Insley Seulen, Manager and Head Barista. Seulen managed The Coffee Fox on Broughton St. for two years prior to the opening. Her expertise in coffee and the Foxy family is undoubtedly an asset to the new location.
The Coffee Fox Louisville provides the perfect pit-stop for students on their way to the Savannah Film Studios or those looking for a new local sip.
