From a sophomore student looking back at his freshman year at SCAD comes Fresh Advice, the run down on all of the SCAD programs, operations and secret tricks you need to know to make a smooth transition to SCAD life.
With the recent release of Adobe Creative Cloud 2018 on Wednesday Oct. 18, 2017, you may be curious on how to obtain the Adobe suite on your personal computer, along with other programs.
Obtaining Adobe programs easy and necessary for every major offered at SCAD. Log in to MySCAD and make your way to the resources tab. Towards the bottom of the page a section labeled “SCAD Deals” displays all the licenses offered to all majors at SCAD.
To obtain the Adobe Creative Cloud license visit adobe.com and proceed to the sign in link located in the top right corner. At the sign in page select “Sign in with an Enterprise ID” type in your SCAD email, you can leave the password blank. Once you click enter select the Enterprise ID option, Adobe will redirect you to the MySCAD login.
Once you provide your MySCAD login information you will be redirected to Adobe’s website where you can select “Desktop Downloads” and choose the Adobe programs you wish to download. If you choose to download the Creative Cloud desktop access program, you will download all the Adobe programs directly onto the desktop app.
SCAD offers the entire Adobe Creative Cloud Suite to SCAD students for free which contains Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, AdobeXD, Premier Pro, After Effects, Dimension, Acrobat Pro, Dreamweaver, Muse, Animate, Audition, Character Animator, Spark, Bridge, Media Encoder, InCopy, Prelude, Fuse, Scout, Flash Builder and more.
