Functional v. conceptual fashion
The SCAD Fashion Show took place on Saturday, where over 30 student designers were chosen to showcase their collections. Ranging from functional wear you would see everyday to conceptual fashion that didn’t even resemble clothing, highlighting a continuing divide in the industry: functional fashion v. conceptual fashion. District spoke with attendees of the show to discuss this difference.
