This weekend, fans of all varieties are swarming the Javits Center in Midtown Manhattan for the 2014 New York Comic Con. People meander through Artist Alley to meet the writers and artists behind several comics, some supporting their fandoms with a representative T-shirt while others are in full costume.
As the second largest pop culture convention in the country, Comic Con provides networking opportunities beyond having your photo taken with Wil Wheaton or the dozens of Deadpool cosplayers running around. Some panels offer sneak peeks of upcoming movies and shows, and also Q&A with some of the cast and crew.
