Lifetime Achievement Award honoree and star of the film “Norman,” Richard Gere walked the red carpet on the closing night of the 20th anniversary of the SCAD Savannah Film Festival Saturday, Nov. 4. Gere spoke following a screening of “Norman” at the Lucas Theatre earlier in the day and accepted his Lifetime Achievement Award before Sunday’s screening of “Darkest Hour.” Gere spoke on the red carpet about “Norman” and what draws him to film festivals where students are involved.
