Other businesses may be added in the meantime, so customers should look for the poster with the League and 9to5 logos in the window of local merchants.
The League of Women Voters is nonpartisan and membership open to men and women of all ages. Cuffy Sullivan, president of the League of Women Voters Coastal Chapter, said, “Voting is our responsibility and privilege as citizens but a little ‘thank you’ never hurts. The League is thrilled that local businesses are stepping up to encourage people to vote.”
The League’s partner, 9to5, is one of the largest, most respected national membership organizations of working women in the U.S., dedicated to putting working women’s issues on the public agenda.
