SCAD’s Arts Administration Department is putting on an event called Cultivating Savannah Art (CSA). The event is aiming to promote the relationship between buyer and artist in Savannah and surrounding areas. The idea for the event came from Community Supported Agriculture that has been successful in the promotion of local farmers across the country. SCAD’s Arts Administration Department has applied this idea towards the arts.
Cultivating Savannah Art is looking for artists in the community to submit their individual pieces of visual art to the CSA by Feb. 4. If chosen for the event, the works will be sold for $35 by the CSA.
