On Sept. 7 at noon, the Chatham Emergency Management Agency (CEMA) will be conducting their monthly scheduled test of the Chatham County Emergency Warning Siren System to ensure it is working properly.

At noon, residents will hear a three minute emergency tone from various sirens located throughout the county. In the event of poor weather conditions such as rain or overcast weather, the siren test will be cancelled.
