Police are investigating the death of a man found floating in the Savannah River near the Lincoln Street ramp on June 1.
Boaters noticed the body at around 4 p.m. and pulled it to a dock before calling the police. A section of the Savannah Riverwalk was closed until the Savannah Fire Department could remove the body.
Identification was found on the body, but Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police are working to confirm the identity. They are also trying to resolve what happened to the man.
