On Feb. 5 two SCAD runners, Patrick Cooley and Megan O’ Boyle, took first place at the Critz Tybee Run. Cooley won first place in the men’s half marathon with a time of 1 hour, 15 minutes and 20 seconds. O’ Boyle won the women’s half marathon with a time of 1:29:26.00.
A total of $40,500 was raised for the run. The money went to the Savannah Community Foundation to help fund scholarships for needy students.
