Patiently waiting on the condition of Savannah band Baroness

The tour bus of Savannah-born heavy metal band Baroness plunged from a 30-foot-cliff in Bath, England early this morning.

BBC News reported that there were nine passengers on board. All were reportedly hospitalized, two receiving fractures from the crash.

The band, who is known locally for playing at the Jinx on Congress Street, is scheduled to begin U.S. performances August 29 but has cancelled the remainder of their European tour “Yellow & Green.”

District has not heard back from the band’s management or press about their condition, but Rolling Stone reported that a rep for the band said, “the band members and crew are recovering at local hospitals” and “all tour dates are postponed until further notice.”

Members of the Savannah community are still waiting on the word from the band She brought together.
