Pirates and onlookers pack Tybee for 2017 festival

Last weekend saw Tybee Island filled with swashbuckling partygoers at the annual Tybee Island Pirate Fest. The event began on the evening of Thursday, Oct. 6 with the Buckaneer Ball, and continued with family friendly festivities until Oct. 8, including live music, reenactments and the Pirate Victory parade Saturday afternoon.
